Markus Deuter
Markus Deuter was born in Mühlheim/Ruhr in 1961.
He received his first oboe lessons from Johann Baptist Schlee; subsequently, he studied with Diethelm Jonas and Prof. W. Feist (Essen), Prof. H. Hucke (Cologne), and Prof. P. Dombrecht (Brussels). In addition, he studied Early Music Performance Practice with Prof. H. Ruf (Cologne). He won the “Young Musicians Regional Competition” in 1975, 1977, 1979 and 1981 and was awarded a scholarship by the “Oskar und Vera Ritter Foundation“ three times. In 1978 he was the winner of the Culture Prize of the city of Mühlheim/Ruhr.
Markus Deuter is member of various chamber music ensembles such as the Sabine Meyer Wind Octet, the Zelenka Ensemble, and the Aulos Quintett; he performs with the Munich Chamber Orchestra and holds the position of First Oboist in several orchestras, predominantly in Germany, such as the Robert Schumann Chamber Orchestra, the Stuttgarter Kammerorchester, the Kölner Kammerorchester, the Neues Orchester Köln, the Bach Collegium Stuttgart as well as the Gabrieli Consort and Players.
From 1989 until 1993 he was member of the ensemble musikFabrik conducted by Johannes Kalitzke. In addition, he participated in a great number of radio and CD productions. Since 1995, Markus Deuter has been a member of Klangforum Wien.

Markus Deuter rođen je 1961. u Mühlheimu na Ruhr-u.
Prve sate oboe pohađao je kod Johanna Baptista Schleea, a potom je studirao kod Diethelma Jonasa i prof. W. Feista (Essen), prof. H. Huckea (Köln) i prof. P. Dombrechta (Bruxelles). Također je studirao izvedbenu praksu rane glazbe kod prof. H. Rufa (Köln). Višestruki je pobjednik regionalnog natjecanja “Mladi glazbenici” (1975., 1977., 1979. i 1981.) te je tri puta dobio stipendiju Zaklade “Oskar und Vera Ritter”. Godine 1978. osvojio je Kulturnu nagradu grada Mühlheima na Ruhr-u.
Markus Deuter član je brojnih komornih ansambala poput puhačkog okteta Sabine Meyer, Zelenka ansambla i kvinteta Aulos; nastupa s Münchenskim komornim orkestrom i prvi je oboist u više orkestara u Njemačkoj, uključujući Komorni orkestar Roberta Schumanna, Stuttgartski komorni orkestar, Kölner Kammerorchester, Neues Orchester Köln, Bach Collegium Stuttgart te Gabrieli Consort and Players. Od 1989. do 1993. bio je član ansambla musikFabrik pod ravnanjem Johannesa Kalitzkea. Sudjelovao je u brojnim radijskim i CD snimanjima.
Od 1995. Markus Deuter član je Klangforuma Wien.
